I'm Amy! I am a caregiver for my incredibly adorable and sassy niece Lily, Monday through Friday, and I make cakes and other goodies on the side. I absolutely love to bake and create something new each time.

For starters, Expedition Bake is all about having fun with baking while learning new tips and techniques that help as you go. I wanted to create something that would document my journey as an intermediate baker, but also be able to help others along the way. I will be learning new things as I continue to grow and I will share every. single. thing. that I learn along the way.

This blog will not be a perfect representation of every baking high that I have but will also document the lows. Because without these lows how do we ever improve or learn what to do in the future?
